Miley Cyrus has claimed to be between 5'4" and 5'5" tall, and when taking into consideration how tall she looks next to other people, I believe that she stands at the upper end of these numbers throughout the majority of the day, so I'll list her height at 5'4.75" (164.5cm) on this page.

Height Claims
In an interview referenced by the daily mirror, with regards to Liam Hemsworth, she claims that:
“He’s a 6ft 4in tall Australian surfer and I’m 5ft 4in from Tennessee and I couldn’t surf if someone gave me $ 10 million so we couldn’t be more opposite”.
She also mentions that she "had to stand on a box for some of her scenes with lanky Liam" during the filming of The Last Song (2010).
In reality, Liam stands almost an inch shorter than 6'4", and Miley is almost an inch taller than 5'4", and although that is still a considerable height difference between the pair, it also serves as evidence that she is one of the few celebs that are modest about their height claims.
In another, later instance, Miley said she claims 5'5" but is "like five-four and a half". About this claim, I think she is telling the truth, and probably measures somewhere between 5'4.5" and 5'5".
Height Comparisons
The obvious height comparison Liam Hemsworth was dating on and off for over 10 years and married for nine months from December 2018 to August 2019. In the countless images of them together, Liam looks huge next to Miley. Liam stands at slightly over 6'3", and Miley doesn't look overly short next to him, but there's still a 9-inch difference. She holds her own and I think she can pull off 5'5"+ with Liam.
However, if we compare her height with 5'11.5" Cody Simpson, when they are both out and about and wearing even footwear, we can see the difference is somewhere in the 6.5-inch range. Miley looks around 5'5" here too.
Finally, if we compare Miley's height to drummer Max Morrando, who stands at 5'8" when they are together and Miley is wearing 3-inch heels, and Maxx in 0.75-inch shoes, there's a 1-inch difference, again, translating to Miley appearing 5'4.75" tall.
Height Worries When Auditioning For Hannah Montana
It seems that it's not only men who have concerns about their height when considering acting roles.
In her book Miles to go (2009), Miley talks about her height concerns, about auditions, mentioning
"Are they worried about your hair? Your height?"
Ashe also mentions that when auditioning for Hanna Montana, compared to two girls also going for the part "I was like a foot shorter than both of them". It appears
that a tall height isn't something that was required for the role, as Miley got the part and played it to perfection!
